If you are anywhere close to my age, you probably remember a time that you were excited to go to the mailbox, because someone, anyone, had taken the time to write you a handwritten card or letter.
Now a days, when I check the mailbox, I have exactly 2 thoughts… (you probably have the same ones 😉
‘What junk mail am I going to throw away?’ and ‘Who do I owe money to?’
And if you’re anything like me, when a handwritten envelope, with your name spelled correctly appears… I think to myself,
‘Wow! So thoughtful and something I get to enjoy reading!’
It actually makes me feel special!
I mean, really think about it. Unless your grandma from MT is sending you a birthday card, (hopefully on the right day), no one gets handwritten mail any more. It’s becoming a lost art.
But here is what sending a ‘Thank you’ card to your client really means…
You absolutely care about them. You cared enough about their experience in your chair to write them about it. You care about their hair, and you care enough to take time out of your day to tell them how much they mean to you and to tell Thank you! You Thank them for taking time out of their busy schedule to spend it with you.
At the end of the day, they are spending both time and money to sit in your chair. Why not acknowledge those very things and let them know how grateful you are to have them in your life.
Talk about POWERFUL!
(Big things really do come in small packages! 😉
Happy Creating,
Xx Jaclyn
